Landscape Photography
Landscape photography for me was the obvious initial starting point in my photography journey. My wife bought me a drone as a present for my birthday, and as I lived in a very beautiful part of the world I enjoyed heading out along the Iberian coast to capture the ocean at the end of the day, or the surrounding mountains on misty mornings. The drone allowed me to understand what really excited me and after purchasing the basic essentials for capturing the quality photos I was after, I began my journey into the study and practice of photography. Landscape photography fuelled my interest into other areas, but it remains a great passion of mine. Discovering the beauty in nature is the reason, and photography just adds another unique element to that.
Wildlife Photography
Wildlife Photography was the natural progression for me, as during my hikes to capture a beautiful landscape, I was welcomed by all these fascinating and beautiful animals going about their lives. I like the challenge that wildlife photography presents, as the camera can often capture things that the eye cannot. The beauty is in the detail; in freezing the momentary movements of the creatures that share this amazing world with us.
